I had a trainee's who's fiancee went to C1 while he was out with me. She couldn't pass her CDL driving test and was let go from C1 after six weeks. So basically they should try and work out all set backs in schooling. Just get to PAM and hope for a decent trainer who has some patience.

Like I said....all they care about is getting students their CDL. They don't care if they learn. They just know they get $5000 a head, 20 new heads a week,....and they have crap equipment, so you know they arent spending any of that cash on maintenance

Look up the old posts from a member named logsrus. She was or still is a a log auditor for a major company. Good info from her. Hope it helps.

Apology accepted. (AND for the record I wasn't trying to insult your husband in any way)

How far along is he now? Since tomorrow's friday I would suppose almost a week huh? And yeah it was like that when I went there too, he has I think 6 days to decide and not pay a dime ...

Did he pass his permit stuff? Also, I went to C1 in Indy and I can point you to the right direction on who will give him the proper time of day; regardless of how c1/driver solutions operate, there are really good people who are there to teach

    Anarane and Noggin Thank this.

    :)

Yes, it is almost a week.

He had his permit before he went to the school. Donna is the one that he has been having issues with. He is having issues trying to add and convert time into the calculable decimals. I'm trying to teach him...but it's not going so well trying to show him over the phone. I tried to send pictures and diagrams over the internet (no minutes on his phone), but the Wi-Fi at the hotel is over-loaded, so it's not working well.

I would appreciate getting those names. Hopefully, he will have success in them.

... Donna must be new ... when I was there, we didn't have female instructors ... and Keith was the one who gave the class part. Hmmm ... but as for the decimal thing it's easy; just remember anything over 7 and a half minutes goes up to the next quarter, anything less goes down a quarter, for instance; 07:08am is 07.25, 08:07am is 08.00, 01:25pm is 13.50, 12:18pm is 12.25, 12:40am is 00.75, 03:35am is 03.50, 10:54am is 11.00, 05:49pm is 17.75 ... that's how I was taught anyway, but on the second week (if he's still there) Brad is the best instructor they got there ... he was the lead instructor in one of the groups ... he may seem like an A-hole, but that man truly cares about teaching...

It's been well-known for awhile now that PAM is mandatory team driving for 6 months.
