Where is everyone?

Those wonderful people that brought us that wonderful new Gulf Coast dish, the other year, Shimp Crude Gumbo.

 

Slumming it at home , bbqing down by the lake , Monday heading to Florida with my Grandson along for the ride.

 

British Petroleum.. the oil company.

And the load was to ship today, but they didn't finish assembling the product so I have to sit till Monday. They are paying me layover and put me up at the hotel here in town on their charge account. I lost out on a short-haul i was going to pickup back home on Wednesday, but I actually will make more $$$ now with the layover LOL

 

Getting paid for not working...seems to be the new American way. In this case it is good to see a trucker being taken care of. Enjoy the R & R.

Im in Salina Ks. Waiting to meet a relative of mine. He made me a chain tub to go with my new chain racks. Pic to come. Then it's a little less than 100 miles home to Wichita, unload and hit the swimming pool. That first beer is gonna be so freaking good! Always is...
