We made it to the Fontana yard but not without issue. The truck seems to be having egr issues...at least that is the code it is throwing. We were coming up a hill and it was down to 20 mph... Later on the flats it wouldn't even do 55. We pulled off at a brake check, shut it down and called maintence. Funny thing.. When we got rolling again, it was fine. It's not the first time it's done this, so maybe they'll decide to fix it now.

 

I bet Devron fixed it when you weren't looking.

Time will tell I guess... She ran fine down to Vernon back to Fontana and then down to Otay Mesa. We unload a few blocks from here in the am.

 

I'm leaving the house tomorrow morning. I'm bob-tailing 103 miles to Pueblo to get a relay load going someplace in IL on Wednesday morning. Weird thing about this one is that I get the relay, then I deliver and pickup at the same place I'm getting the relay from. I guess I'll see what shakes out about that. Also, I don't see me making the 1250 mile run and delivering by 0800 Wednesday morning. I might make it, but I'm not too optimistic about it. Oh well, it's a d/h at the consignee, so the window for delivery goes until 2359 Wednesday night. I'll just have to let my FM know how I'm doing Tuesday afternoon sometime.

 

At the dollar general in scottsville KY. Parked here overnight people were real nice. Appt time is 1700 hopefully get in b4 then to head further south for home.

 

I'm escanaba, MI. Headed to Gwinn to pickup a 4 stop load to Minnesota. Its gotta be tarped, so might get some money on this load.

As for me. I am in bennettsville SC at Carolina particle board. 3 hours on my 70 and I'm eating away my hours sitting here. This sucks! (14 hour clock)
