I read some very educated pro n con on DEF and new emmission engines. Thanks guyz. Me myself side with the guyz that think its another way for the goverment to extract our earnings out of our pockets. Trucking is one of the few industries were individuals as well as large companies make cash go round and round on a daily basis. Mileage on that Cascadia vs Other non Def trucks I'v driven is basically the same. Also maintnance for these trucks is pricey, sensors for this sensors for that no wonder I see so many new trucks on the side of the road. Including mine. Not to mention the wait for parts on these systems is outrageous a driver can easily loose 1k miles or more waiting for parts. Pre DEF engines worked just fine. I was happy with my CAT 13 on the Argossy. But this is the future hopefully they will wrinkle out the kinks in the systems and cut maintnance costs overtime. Peace!
The heck is DEF?
