Applied with Navajo - Hope it happens

Greetings Drivers.
Thanks for all the great posts. Been reading them for weeks & weeks & weeks and what a goldmine of info! Lotsa dynamic personality types reside here and somehow all ya congregated in the same place swapping stories & slaps. Sounds like my kinda place. Please refrain from flaming me until week 2.

Resume? New driver - CDL-A graduate w/MTN and pending "X". I already see what that resume has got me. *snicker*

I was instructed via a 'macro reply' to wander in this room and introduce myself after signing up the other day .... figure I outta do as I was told so "Howdy!" (I never disobey and instruction ..... I just am known for extremely selective hearing.)

After performing my carrier due diligence of several months, I chose Navajo as my first choice. I got a few other possibilities, but Navajo seems to be the best fit "for me" ...and "for now." I will be disappointed if they turn me down.

Not looking for critiques on Navajo, as the decision is made and the next step is to fulfill the next phase. I actually chose them based on how little was written about them here... seems that's as good an indicator as I needed to plunder into yet another 'career'. Tried tallying up the good, bad & ugly comments on all the others and ran outta paper & patience. $5k can't buy ya love, but can start ya a life in trucking .... but then why would I do that heh?

So now it's down to will they accept me? Well now I guess we'll just have to see 'bout that heh?

I'm not a big talker, so won't post much. Too wise to fight & bicker, so won't be fighting much. Done my drinking and carrying on already in years past, so won't be apologizing for posts made 'under the influence'.

Not pretending to be a Super Trucker, coz too little 18-wheeler road time under my butt to say anything that would impress anyone. Not gonna complain and moan on-line with every bump in the 1st year road, coz I know it's the dues one must pay to understand the path chosen - it's all about retrospect. Remind me in a year to let ya know if it was a good decsion or bad one. I probably will know more then.

I am however, happy to join this fraternity of drivers and offer up any useful info that may happen out of my brain by accident ..... just don't hold ur breath waitin. Reality is... I will be taking more than giving, so this relationship starts with me being beholding to ya'll. Hope ya don't mind.

Wanted to let ya'll know where I jumped on at..... so when I fall off you'll know where to start lookin' for me. *smile*
