Watch tv? Schneider keeps me hopping, by the time I'm parked, I'm ready for bed. I may have an hour or so to kill here or there, but I find that time better occuppied with exercise, reading or bs'ing on here. I don't even miss tv, not after 14 hours on-duty. Don't forget you'll have to run your truck more to power the accessories, especially when it's cold. They won't be happy if you kill the batteries and need a jump.

Save your money for all the duck tape you are going to need to buy to keep your overworked truck they are going to assign you together.

Find another mega-carrier to work for that allows inverters!

Unfortunately some people don't understand electricity and think any 14 gauge wire connected directly to the battery would work.

Sounds like you wanna set up camp and watch tv at every given opportunity.
Id skip the tv and get a laptop or a tablet.

Here's an idea, get your own truck, outfit it the way you want to, pay for all the maintenance and etc. that goes with it?

I'm not trying to start anything here, but to be completely honest, buying a laptop and paying for the internet sounds like a much better idea than possibly signing on with a company that all you're going to do is risk getting canned from. Just saying.

Or find a carrier with apu's and inverters already installed.

    Note: mega-carrier omitted on purpose.
