That's 42 CPM. 21 per driver. It's been awhile since I teamed. But I don't think that's bad. Even while your in the sleeper asleep. You're getting 21CPM. Cali. to TX. wouldn't be a bad run. I wouldn't mind it. I know Central has one terminal right there in Irving TX. I think Swift bought Central about 10 years ago. I could be wrong.

Is not so bad for a beginner anybody with less than a year experience can get that I saw it but this guy wants 2 years experience all the endorsements and pay beginners rates without endorsements!

I would not touch that job.A grand a week and likely no insurance or bennies? The last time I teamed was back in 1994 and we did 800 + a week with full benifits.

42cpm split is what most of the bottom feeders are starting recent grads at with a 5k bonus split also USX etc

almost all of their drivers for long haul, are owner operators. As far as non smokers,it depends on who hires you.Just remember, you'll have to go through 4 days of orientation in Ft. Worth ,Texas.( which you're not paid for )

With the trucking industry as it is,42 cpm,is not too bad ! Two round trips to Ft.Worth out of Fontana,Ca.,I pay my co-driver $ 1150. However,it's a 1099 type job.I do however pay workmans comp for him,and when you consider the amount he can deduct for being out each day,he pays near no taxes if any. It's very hard to find a good company to run team for, especially with all the insurance guidelines .Most older experienced drivers are passed over for the new generation, which in my opinion,is really hurting the industry. And yes,Swift's owner, does indeed own Central Freight Lines.
