Too-Tall, LOL dead bodies haha
Seriously though, may have been ice cream on board.
I can agree with the negatives that've been posted, mostly true. But there are a couple of instances where a refer came in handy to me. One, I ran outta fuel heading east out of salt lake city half way up the mountain. Robbed a few gallons from the refer tank and I was back out. Another time, I emptied out in L.A, and had a whole day to drive to Salinas Ca, then kill....I ran my refer for a 6 pack and a sub sandwich

I have no problem with my reffer.
I have only run accross one of our trailers that really was not working well, and I had that one brought to a terminal for repairs.
The exaust goes up, so unless it is really windy it is not an issue.
As for the refferance to the bunk heaters.
They work very very well in the trucks that I have been in that have them. They are diesel fired and very quiet.
Of corse I have one of the few trucks in my companys fleet that was not set up with one from the factory, and they will not instal it now because the truck is due for trade in next year, so I am stuck using my good ole Cummons ICON system which really really sux for the drivers next to me.
You think a reefer cycling is loud. Try a truck starting and stopping 15++ times a night. -

Oh yeah I also forgot the dreaded "washout!" Having to find a truck stop that will wash out the blood or scrub clean a dirty smelly trailer. This may take several hours between driving to a truckstop, having the unit cleaned, then returning to the shipper. Just ask any driver who has hauled a load of chopped up chickens.
