Load canceled. Picking up same location, but going to Statesville, NC instead. More miles than last one.

 

I didn't get far. Either container backed into trailer or yard jockey put trailer against container. All lights on right side of trailer were ripped off, hole in side of trailer, and flat tires. I'm in Finland, GA getting everything fixed. Breakdown added a PM service as well. Once it's done, I'm rolling on.

 

Hey fellas, I got dispatch to deadhead to CVS in Vero Beach, Fl to p/u empty. Got there and empty wasn't empty. The epmty been sitting there so long that CVS decided to make it a storage trailer. Was told to pull out of CVS and they would find me another empty somewhere else. Well that was at 10:00 this morning. I called DM and they still looking, was told to hang tight..Well it's 3:15 and still no empty or load. Clock steady ticking away..lol

 

Poor planning there Big Brah.

I pick up tonight in Ft Mill, SC going to Augusta, GA. All of 185 miles. Then I sit until Sunday evening to pick up in Augusta going to Tampa. I should have gone home this weekend if I had known the planners wouldn't utilize my time out. Still doing 34 off. I'm going to bug for layover pay.
