I went to Monte Vista and grabbed a load of potatoes. If you go to Grower Shipper, go past them 1 block north, and there is a scale on your left. Get an empty weight before going in. Thy tried to load me 46900 lbs. then they told me if they had to rework, it would be $100 to do so. Wih my empty ticket they dropped my load down to 44000 and I was fine.

    John Spirit Wolf Thanks this.

At times, yes, it can be a real pain in the butt... But most of the time it isn't really... Stop and think about it, any kind of trailer that you pull can be a pain at times... Ever had to deliver to a construction site? See what I mean? A lot of it has to do with the company behind you... I happen to think that FRE is one of the better ones out here and I've been a driver now for over 20 years...
