    Hello all, I was considering taking a job with a pretty good company, but it is too small to offer insurance. I was wondering if yall could reccomend a company or a website to start looking. Also as some other drivers I am not in the best of health, but nothing major. Thanks for any help.

    Man I am in good health (as far as I know) and my insurance is HIGH.. Shop around... do a yahoo or good search on individual health... if you need dental search that too.. Sorry not much help.

    You are a driver, so that qualifies you to be a member (when you join) of OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association), and they have medical plans you can check out. I don't use them, but an O/O friend of mine did and he was happy with them, but you still need to check them out and shop around.

    Thanks for the website. Can I use that eventhough I am a company driver and not an owner operator?

    Yes you can, the "Professional Driver" part applies to you. :D

    You'll notice it on the Membership Application form when you send them $45.00 and your info to become a member.
