Scottie, I just came up I-5 and OR-58 is open during the day, "expect delays", and closed at night. I don't remember the closure hours or exactly where the construction is.

Brooks, OR at the Pilot. Got here over by 3 minutes on my 11. I realized the QC is the only Swift entity, human or otherwise, that pronounces my last name correctly. Heading up to Troutdale terminal tomorrow for a few days of 34 reset and ac repairs. Supposed to get into the 50s tonight. Sweet.

Limon, CO heading to Laredo... Well, the wife is really starting to hound me

get off the road. Don't know what I'll do for work if I quite. Kinda hard to get a local gig with only eight months under my hat. Creative ideas?

 

Talk to Injun about who to contact to get on the Walmart Grandview dedicated. (Or the very cynical part of me says go home until you get tired of each other then come on back out.) Actually I've seen a bunch of ads on trucks listing home every day, etc mostly up here in the Northwet. I would try to stick it out for at least a year.

I've called Grandview everytime I get up in that area, which is about twice a month... I get the same response, "we'll take your truck number and get back to you if we need surge drivers". What I'd like to do and what my wife is willing to llet me do aint always the same thing... I'm kinda surprised how good Im doIng at this whole marriage thing.

Grand Junction, CO. Was planning on farther today, but after the fun between Wheatland and Colorado Springs, I was 20 mins short of getting to UT, where I wanted to be tonight. Now I remember why I hate I-70 west of Denver on a Sunday during the summer, especially throw in some rain. Now going to try for Barstow tomorrow, but think that I will end up in Baker.

 

the construction on OR58 is at the tunnel just east of oakridge. ran through there twice a week for 6 weeks with my trainer. if your in lathrop scottie why would you run up 97 to 58 to 5? its a long ways across 97 to 5
