    I attended Roadmaster Orlando back in 2007. Yes it was expensive, but my overall experience there was positive AND I GOT MY CDL. The staff was just soso since they were all ex-truck drivers it seemed like they were no-it-alls. Since I knew nothing about truck driving, only that it was a life long passion they really did know a lot more then me. The only negative was that I was teamed up with a Spanish speaking trainer and all the other guys in my training truck were Mexican I lost out on a lot since the trainer spoke Spanish most of the time.

    If you want your CDL in 3 weeks I recommend going to Roadmaster.

    After I graduated I went to work for Werner which I will talk about in another post.

    Anyone else here go to RM Orlando, I would like to hear your story.

    Yeah, that's where I went back in the summer of '07. I kind of felt ripped off and it seemed like all they really cared about was them getting paid. I remember that towards the end of the first week, they started going after everyone for financing and co signers. That left a really bad taste in my mouth toward the school. Little did I know at the time, that the whole industry seems to be sticking there hands in your pocket for something. Some people went into panic because they were already vested in the school and I guess they thought that they were approved already for a loan or something, and I am pretty sure that even a few of them had to leave the school because they couldnt get a co signer or a loan approval. All that just to basically get trained to pass a CDL test, and you really dont learn squat about really driving a truck. But, I stuck with it, got my CDL and been rolling ever since. Living the dream. LOL
