xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx......smells like teen spirit to me .....as far as the original point of the thread the first company i leased on to when i bought my truck was crst and in my opinion they are dirty signed a percentage contract with the option of booking my own freight as long as they were credit aproved ...all was good until their practice of low balling rates came back to bite them wanted me to haul their freight for 1.10 a mile in a lane including fsc that i was booking at over 250 a mile and told me they would not aprove any more outside freight so haul their #### or sit .....i dh myself straight to ia from tx and gave them their #### back ....guess they forgot my truck was paid off i don;t like being pushed around or threatened

And I betcha you DON'T KNOW who he is. Didn't know there was only one State Trooper in NC. I wish you a great time finding out who he is....gives you something to do while you're sitting around waiting on your load. And I betcha you won't mouth off to him. You can write all you want here, but I know as soon as a badge stands in front of you, you're smaller than a midget. If you know who he is, make him your friend and you might be left alone in NC, just like me. Stop trying to fit in your smarty-pants....they haven't fit you for a while now. Time to give 'em up ;).

Let me see....first, your braking applies to brakes and not to BREAKING a law....that's just one answer to your 3rd grade writing style. Go back to 3rd grade and you may learn when to apply the word "braking" or the word "breaking". Second, as long as my friend's got any suspicions whatsoever regarding the equipment or the driver, he can pull you over at any time he wants. I don't see him breaking any laws here. He has the right to inspect you, your logbook, your equipment at any time you travel the NC interstate or highways. Maybe you guys and your "oh-so-perfect-knowledge" need to talk to a State Trooper and see how much power they REALLY have over you (and for that matter any driver on the road). I've been with my friend on many of his trips and so far, he has never pulled anybody over without proper cause. If your mudflap hangs too low, that is your problem - and when you don't fix it or don't get it fixed, you will face the probability of being pulled over. Try a low hanging mudflap in Texas and see how fast you'll be pulled over and than tell the cop that this wasn't proper cause for him to pull you over. HAHAHA, good luck!

If this story is true, this guy sounds like a real loser. He is mad at a couple trucking companies, so he becomes a state trooper, so he can pull their trucks over?

    This sounds like a joke.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

One thing I haven't heard is...don't you think that personally these co's don't have lawyers that could read this stuff...

Let's say for example that this trooper decided to pull over one of these co's trucks & write numerous citations just to get even...if their attorneys found out that this was premeditated retaliation, they more than likely sue the state of north Carolina because he works for them, but also sue him and put him out of work & in the poor house.

But IF a NC state trooper pulls me over and "tears apart my truck" I will have a good idea that he's the guy....no? And IF that happens I'll be sure to let him know that you were his downfall.
