I narrowed it down to two. Ntts liverpool and Sage trucking school in vestal, ny.. Ntts is for 18months and Sage is for 4 weeks. My expert opinion on this, being as I had never heard of either of these schools before hand, is that everyone should look at the fees. You will notice that the Title IV stuff. This is a school that is going after Government money. Most schools do this. If you do go to this school, I would seriously try to get them to lower the fee so you can get it at little or no cost to you.

Check out Commercial Driver Training in West Babylon. Theyre on the Nassau/Suffolk border right off the Southern State Pkwy. Great instructors and good equipment to learn on. Good luck.

Also check with the night schools, some of the states offer free retraining for people getting out of jail and because you pay taxes you can benifit, from this as well.

I would say go to sage they train on sleeper cabs and 53 foot trailers and alot of companies hire from them dont go to a school that trains on day cabs and 24 foot trailers you will not be driving those when on the road. The school you pick should be accredited cause if its not you might not get a job, sage schools are one of the best and have recruiters coming in all the time, depending on the school you could get financial aid they are expensive about 5000 for residence of the state and 6000 if not a resident but in my opinion they are the best be besides signing your life over to a company.

    232trucker Thanks this.
