    I dont believe that TMC's physical is any different than anybody elses. You will drop your shorts and turn your head and cough. If youve never had that done, dont worry about it. Im sure the Dr dont wanna hold your junk anymore than you want him too. You know, or should know, deep down if your a good person. If you are then you wont have any problems.
    Ok, so I leave my house this morning at 0500, so I can be at the consignee at 0700. My appointment was for 0800. I arrive, untarp, go inside to say howdy. These people are jerks. They asked if I was the one that was supposed to be here friday? I said I was. So, their tone of voice changes, and he says I have a truck die in at 0800 and another at 1000. He then said" if YOUR lucky, I'll get to you around 1300." What could I say?? Heres another week starting out with me doing the right thing, to be stopped in my tracks. If Id known I wouldnt be unloaded till 1:00, I wouldnt have left my house till 11:00!! So if this is true, then when I finally get this stop unloaded, I still have to drive 4 hours to Greensboro. Because I started my day so early, I have to be parked by 1800. So I wont make my 2nd drop today.
    I spoke to my new fm. He said looks like my home time was good and didnt see any problems with it?? Really? If that be the case, then I believe I'll follow Jeff right out the door too. Time will tell.

    I'm tellin ya. This is the kind of things I saw flatbedding. Shipper / receiver time is a PITA. Time consuming, hard work (compared to van) and ya don't get paid for it.
    Tell me, I'll bet your 14hr clock is more of a problem than your 11hr? That tells ya something.

    When I did dry van, the 11hr. clock was the issue. Thats a good thing because that's how ya make money. ( Driving miles ). Yeah ya get a couple of more cents a mile flatbedding, but it's not worth the bull and less driving miles, in my humble opinion.

    Blind Dog. Just don't make any complusive decisions because you are in the heat of the moment. Think long term about your career and put your time in and make a move at the right time for the better. Use this time to do your homework. Remember stability is important.

    Well, I THOUGHT I was smart, patient, and could filter through bs. I did research trucking, alot, before I took the plunge. Came within a snap of going to Millis Transfer. In alot of ways I wish I would have. Ut hey, in fairness everything that happens out here is not TMC fault. Theres too many things out here that we have no control over. All I know is there is no reason for the consignee to not unload me. I am the only truck in the parking lot. I guess they have an attitude because I didnt make it on friday. Well believe me when I say I wish I coulda got unloaded friday.

    you should have said no my appt is for 8 this morning, i dont know who that fri driver was. bend the truth a little till you get that load off .

    Sitting near sweetwater, tn for over a hour waiting to be unloaded. Have preplan for alcoa after I get out of here.
