Strange or bizarre tips for drivers

I used to open the drivers side top bunk vent in my 379.. Same results.

 

And grease out of clothes.

 

Not the most sanitary but if you find you have an air leak at your glad hands, spit on the rubber seals.

Also, if you cant get the air to quit leaking, pop the glad hand seal out and turn it around.

 

Thank you for this piece of info. Didn't know there was anything out there that could improve night vision...

 

I'm pretty new, 9 months, but how about staying off CB channel 19 for conversations between just 2 truckers. Seems like there are plenty of other channels to switch to.

I found out that my little cheap CB can override some other peoples conversations. So if they go on and on and on I just press the mic switch on mine when they start to talk and then no one hears anything from them. I don't say anything so it's just silence. Keep doing this every time they start to talk.

 

It is stupid sh-- like this that makes the old hands sure every rookie is an idiot !!!

There was a time when there were people talking and people would join in and we all enjoyed it but now all you here is ######## and complaining from a people that would rather do anything but drive a truck.

 

Yeah, it's either that or some dumb@$$ playing music or some sampled stuff from his laptop over the air. There was a time when truckers and anyone used the CB Radio for good uses. Now it's just a bunch of yahoos playing on it or getting arguments going. Then drivers like Diveguy keying up and blocking the channel when someone else talks.

 

If I don't want to listen to the ratchet-jaws, I just turn the darn thing off.
