All trucking schools are paid to do is qualify a student to get a CDL. He got his CDL so there is no grounds for suit . He failed the road test because he forgot or ignored what he was taught.
If that's the way he drives with an instructor beside him just imagine how he'd be on his own. He has no business behind the wheel of a truck. For so many to suggest other carriers would accept him just shows how much the industry has declined.

:biggrin_2556:i wouldn't even think of driving a big truck yet, go for warehouse inside work, then after a year, tell boss you want too shag trailer's all day, this will train you too dock and move trailer's around, much what you do in real world in trucking, then as you get better at that, tell boss your ready for box truck type delivery's , then aft a year of that, tell boss , your ready for the 18 wheeler and take a short run out like 567 miles out and back and if haven't screwed up by then , wrecking truck's or trailer's then your good too go, that's how i got started in trucking, it's long process, but worth it, today school's , too me is too much rush rush get em out the door , get the next group in here, i prefer one on one taking time with me or my driver trainer too show me the right's and wrong way of trucking, not looking at movies or book's,or test, that don't teach me nothen, hand's on teaching does work for me.:biggrin_2556:

If your trainer let you drive like that he should be off the road too! How do you coast through a stop sign in an automatic? If you scord 100% on the DMV test then you should know what those stop signs are for and where you should stop, Also you should know how to make a proper right hand turn from a red and how to pass a walker or biker properly. 10 sp.13sp 18sp, or auto the rules are all the same. Sorry to be so harsh but the mistakes you made are pretty bad and you should have known better. Now learn from then fix the problem and get after it man. Good luck

It's all part of the test.
If you're cavalier enough to roll through stop signs with the instructor; they're thinking you must be a regular cowboy without him. I'm sure there's more here going on than meets the eye.

Any company that wants to hire you can get a copy of your completion certificate for C1. They just have to contact them. I went with drivers solutions and PAM and while waiting 3 weeks for orientation decided to go to work and make some money. I applied to an ad for a small company and was hired. They obtained a copy of my completion certificate saying I passed C1. You can get that but I wouldn't tell prospective employers that I failed the test. I'd tell them you parted ways after disagreeing with them.

No trucking company is going to hire him because pam have him under contract. when the op's put pam name on his application. the potential empolyer is going to call and verified his employment history that when pam is going to shot him down.

That why it better to pay for your own school.

Ok so back in 2006 I went thrugh C-1 Drivers solutions for my class A license. I was released from "Company A" for some stupid stuff on my part. C-1 contacted me and we tried to get me on with another one of "their" training companies. C-1 wanted to make sure they would get their money... Well its been awhile since then and I've been a "yard jockey" from 2007 till 2011. And I still owe them money. I'll be starting with another company here on July 30th.

Have you contacted drivers solutions to see if they can place you with USA. It's worth a shot.
