Been trying to call tyson afterhours and sheldon after hours to call about the detention alert, the idiots at tyson wont even pickup the phone, and when i call i get some rent a cop. When i go to leave a message on sharon's or denise's lines, i dont get the answer machine. Sounds like the stuff i was told at orientation wasnt too truthful. I hope this is the last time they send me into this place(mechanicsville) early in the morning if they cant give accurate information on these afterhours shipper phone numbers.

 

Finally got out of that place, heading up to front royal for a load going home for my 34, think i am going to take advantage of my weekday hometime and get my motorcycle learners permit....looks like NYS is going to have to send out the warning for everyone to stay off the sidewalks...LMAO

 

Hey, anyone have the waynesboro address and how is it to park there for night? They have a shower?

 

Just had supper with Notez in harrisonburg VA......heading back to the chicago for wed morning...

 

From I-64 take exit 96 and go north to the first stop light (Wilco on the corner) and turn left, at the next light bear right to follow the truck route, at the second light (fire station on the corner) turn left, go straight and about two blocks past Kroeger turn left into the South River Complex. When you pass through the guard shack go into the lot ahead of you to flip a u turn then park on the south side of the lot. You cannot make a right from the gate since there is a light pole in the way. There is a shower in the bathroom.

 

Not sure what time you tried to call Tyson but Central Traffic Office in Dakota Dunes is closed from 0500 - 0700 Central time. If the alert time falls within this time frame just call Sharon in the morning and she will take care of it. Mechanicsville is the poster child for why we refer to those places as StupidValu.

On another note I had to call Tim today so I called and said lemme guess you want to talk about my Off duty drive time yesterday...he said I was psycic...I told him no...I went ODD to go get some stuff from wally world in Front Royal.....then I jumped back in the truck ran to toms brook for trailer wash and then to hinton VA for p/u only to find that my QC didn't kick me off the ODD line...and I couldn't edit it out...so he did it for me.......kinda glad I took the turnpike today (thanks Notez) cause there are some gnarly looking storms on the radar around 70...

 

I picked up a brokered load in Chesapeake that is due in Des Moines at 0800 on Thursday and thankfully there is a delivery window. Especially since I lost 1.5 hours between Richmond and Charlottesville today. First an accident stopped traffic, then an oversized taking up both lanes on 64 for 20+ miles and then the storms. Stopped at the TA in Lee Hi for the night. They've really cleaned this place up!
