If a newer truck is important to you, don't choose SNI. It wasn't that important to me and I enjoyed my dedicated account.

Hey Moe, we hadn't had a recruiter from Roehl come to our school in 4 years. Then they finally sent one when I was in school and told them that there are other people interested in Roehl.

I'll actually be going up to my trucking school once a month to talk to people about working for Roehl. Their gonna let me drive my truck up there to show them the new equipment we're getting. I don't get paid for doing it, I wanted to do it because id rather have a driver tell me what the companies like rather than a recruiter

You probably won't get a new truck as a newbie with any company. They want to see if you can avoid hitting stuff first. SNI just bought a ton of new trucks to turn the fleet over, however, you won't see one for a while. A truck with some miles on it should not be a barrier as long as it is clean inside and runs ok. Look at a companies safety rating as that will be a good indication of how well they maintain the equipment and also how often you are pulled into a scale for an inspection. My truck, I do not driver for either company, has 971,000 on it and runs just fine. Another company I ran for bought all used and my truck had 750,000. It also ran fine and that was one of the best companies I've worked for although they were a small outfit.

I don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but was wondering if some Roehl and SNI drivers could tell me if either company has APU's in their trucks? Thanks in advance for your time.

Roehl has some trucks with apu's. The new trucks are equipped with the battery pack powered ac and heat for the sleeper.
