first month down with Knight Transportation. They have been great. Already got me home twice and my DM has been running me constantly. They only prob...have had to sit just one time here in Phoenix for a day because my truck had electrical issues. I am making some good money averaging bout $700 a week. Will be making more once off probation....cant wait for that.

1st of all $700/wk isn't squat!...if you think that after your 90 days it's going to get better..haha..it will et worse...let me illustrate for you...

My first 3 months they ran me efficiently & made decent $$..then I went on a pre arranged vacation trip with my wife & when I came back disaster struck!!!

1st week back I went from Houston to okc then picked up in Amarillo tx going to long beach Ca...arrived on sunday am and sat till wednesday to do a local run from Fontana to los angeles ca the.

Reload thurs going to Phoenix..360mi..del Friday then picked in Miami Az going to Nogales Az & sat another weekend...1900mi for 2 weeks!!

I sat more weekends than I count...it was due to operational screw ups by inept people... Knight has more late loads due to ops dispatching loads beyond late...

So if you think it's going to get better for you...tell us in 6mos when you're screaming your going broke...

So drvrtech77 you think $700 aint crap huh. Lets see now when I worked for CR England for 5 yrs and during my last 2 months I was making less then $200 a week $700 is good. Plus the fact that my wife makes $3000 a month as a restaurant manager and no house payments, car payments, etc...its great. Plus when I have a DM at Knight that gives a crap bout me and always calle everyday to see how I am doing and ask when i want to go home...hell I only talked to my DM at England 6 times in 5yrs. And he usually called me to ##### bout something bout a load. So say what you will so far so good. And before you say it...I know one day the honeymoon may be over but till then I will enjoy it. I will b e prepared for it when it happens.

oh and after the probation period I will be making alot more. I know this wont last forever. I am not some wide eyed newby either I went thru hell with England so it cant get much worse. I can handle whatever they throw my way. I just sat for almost 2 days in {Phx cuz they were working on my truck and you know what...it didnt bother me one bit. Why becuz I am not making truck payments and I have enough money.

Know what DNA...I am an experienced driver...I drove as a trainer and L/O with CR England for 5 years. I went thru their training becuz I did a stupid thing by letting my CDL Lapse...so it was start all over as a newby. I eneded up helping to train some of the other newbies and as of right now I have nothing but good things to say bout Knight. They treat me fair and have gotten me home within one to two days of my requested time. So dont bad mouth them unless you have been thru thier training.

Know what I have read the posts here and all I see is people whining bout hometime ...or bad trailers...or bad dispatchers...etc. You know what I worked for England for 5 years and put up with crap that would make you all go running home to mommy. I know work for Knight and live 5hrs north of Phoenix Az on the Navajo Rez and you know what...They have got me home EVERY single time I have requested it. And they have let me take my company truck and trailer home everytime. So far things are going good and I intend to do my best to keep it that way.

Oh and I make good money with Knight.....No trucking company is perfect so quit whining bout Knight and just do your job. You are what you make of any company you work for.

Have fun paying knights tolls and scales...you sure won't be reimbursed!!...I caught them red handed essentially imputing the tolls & scales in their system when I was in Phoenix office...how is it that they can receive Bol thru transflo but not scales etc yet they're scanned together...they're showing paying you reimbursement but not actually depositing $$ in your account so they can write it off as business expense & save the $$ they didn't give back to you.

You'll find out after 90 days...they treat you like royalty your first 90 days, then downhill after that..

Was told by a Knight driver the drivers do not pay for scales anymore. It is all done on the fuel card. If you have to scale somewhere the fuel card is not accepted you just call the DM for a P.O.#. and put on the trip sheet and turn in with bills.

If that's what they do...then why not open the comdata card for every cat scale...Gordon trucking does that...
