I was messing with a couple wires in the bunk that had a 12v outlet, trying to splice in a small inverter. And the wires touched and i thought i blew the fuse. Checked the fuse panel on the dash and the "cigar" fuse is still good. But there is no power to the fuse. Its just a 10amp, i would think it should of blew first, but something else must of. I also lost power to the dash 12v outlet at the same time.

    Any ideas?

Check in the battery box and by the driver's side fire wall under the hood.

I could be wrong but I think the fuse to the bunk outlet, is in the panel behind the drivers seat. That was on a 05/06 Feightliner. Not sure why it would blow the front outlet at the same time, except maybe the 03 was wired different.

Check the B-Pillar PDM. The PDM (fuse panel) is located in the compartment just behind the driver's door. There are a few fuses in there for 12v receptacles....I'm sure there is one blown.

Would this be the same for a 1999 volvo?
