I applied to Conway and was told I live outside the hiring area. I live close to Tampa, Florida. On the application there was no place to indicate I was a student and would be graduating next week. Conway is my first choice. I have heard good things about the company and how they treat their employee's.

When you're out for 6-8 weeks, how much home time are they giving you? Thanks.

One day every 7 days out. They treat us good over here I love it. Just don't run 65 all the time. Don't idle when not needed

Thanks. Do you get to choose how long you're out -- like the 6-8 weeks?

You can stay out 1-2 years if you see fit.

I believe the policy is you can request home time after being out for 10 days. They will get you home in 8 days or better. It's that simple. Remember, getting you home may limit your miles. They will put you on loads heading the right way. So, I stay out 6 to 7 weeks and then take 5 days or so off. Then I get nice home time instead of just a long weekend, I average more miles, and I bank days for the holidays and stuff.
