2 Options for Swift Academy reimbursement:
Let them take $35-$40 out of your check every week for one year, totaling $1950. At that point, they will start paying you back $35-$40 per week for another year, so school will be completely paid for after 2 years.
Or,
If you pay up front for the Academy, Swift will reimburse you for the full amount after working for them for 6 months. So let's say you've worked for Swift for 6 months, and so far they've taken $800 total out of your checks. Pay them the remaining $3100 for the academy, and then they will give you back the full $3900. -
on the positive side I do believe that schooling of this sort is tax deductible. I, myself, if I had the money would pay up front and get it back after 6 months. You can survive any company for that long if you set your mind to it.

You can leave Swift the day after school and, as long as you continue making your weekly payments of $37.50, your loan will not be accelerated.

Here is the deal with the Academy tuition. For the first 13 months they will take $75 a week out of your check while at the same time reimbursing you $37.50 a week so the net result is you are paying them back $37.50 each week. After this is done you will have paid them $3900 back and they will have already reimbursed you 1/2 of that and you owe them nothing at all. Now if you stay with Swift beyond this they will keep paying you back the $37.50 a week for the next 13 months and at that point you will have paid nothing for the school. You are free to leave at anytime, as long as you keeping paying them $75 a week til paid off they are happy however they will not release any of your school record until they are paid back.
