I am looking to get into the trucking industry, so far i have looked at CRST, stevens transport, schnider, con-way freightload and pam, so far i have heard both good and bad things about all of them, any ideas or recomandations to a good company that offers training and decent starting pay?

So Im reading these bad comment's from Pam Trainer's, and have a few question's and concern's. First, Im fresh out of school, and when I say fresh, I mean fresh, my cdl isnt even 24 hours old yet. I went through a school that was a joke in my opinion. It was a sink or swim kinda deal, you almost had to teach yourself. Our road truck was a super 10, which they didnt teach us how to shift, I only caught on quickly because I know how to drive a manual, anyway's basically we got in the truck and were told to go, know instruction what so ever. Our skills wasnt what it should be either, we learned straight line back, 45 degree backing, front line stop, and right turn. We basically learned enough to pass Ill cdl requirement's. This school had one yard truck and one road truck with an average of five student's, and our last 3 week's we had one instructor, so you know the amount of time we got behind the wheel. I was there 5 week's and I added my time in the road truck, comes out to about 5 hours total for the entire time there. Im suppose to call Pam Friday and set up to go with trainer or Tontitown, not sure which, Ive been told 3 different things between Pam and the school. I dont want to drive team but will as far as my contract goes, but I had orientation for Pam at the school and they said teaming for 6 month's would be with another new driver, which I didnt know, I thought it would be an experienced driver. Im not liking that at all, I mean what if something happen's, do I look at the new guy and ask what to do, and his response is gonna be make sure your seat belt is on tight?? I didnt get a cdl and come into this industry to start off on a bad deal or getting into an accident because of ###### training, I dont want to hurt or kill anyone and sure dont wanna be hurt or killed myself. So I guess my question is now that I have a class a, should I go somewhere else that doesnt rush and Il get good training? My school said the only penalty for not going with Pam or quiting before the year is up is that I would pay the entire amount of training cost, which if I gotta pay 7 grand compared to 2 grand to save my ### and make sure Im trained properly I will. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
