Actually if you google stream flo that is the parent company and look it up on the Canada job bank too. Pay depends on truck hours but the base salary starts at 3k and goes up from there and no layoffs during breakup, still get base salary and minimal shop hours. Truck hours start at $27. After 3 months base wage and truck wage go up. The job is like I said, rig in the tool and standing iron, sit in the truck, reload balls, rig out.

Oh exact job is swamper but I wanna learn the picker and become an operator.

Hey Jamesg, how many times a day do you get asked if your balls have dropped yet?

    Does it ever get old?

Just to update....I applied online for loads of jobs but no luck hearing anything back from any of them. However, I have a friend who works for Trican out of Grande Prairie who recommended me to his boss and I got a job with them starting August 10! Its definitely a case of who you know.

Congrats! Once you get a bit of experience the next job will come easier. I get offered better paying jobs while working which is fairly common.

Yeah sure thing. In my case, I know it will be worth it already as Trican's basic before bonuses is about what I bring home with the company I am imminently finishing with so anything is better than that.

You should look in to a out fit called "Flat Iron" they are buildig a lot of roads and go thru most of the winter. I haul a lot of fuel and I here they are always looking for operators. They are building the ring road around Edmonton, they burned 40,000 + liters every 4 days they go hard.

40,000 that's it about 10,000 a day. Just one of my units and I am looking at 2000 plus/day. Put two of them on the lease side by side and 4000 barely lasts til the bulker comesback
