Swift is the best option...stay away from the other two!

Take a look at Prime, Roehl and Millis. They all have sponsored training. Not sure if they hire in your area but worth a look.

Swift sounded great, considering that they would pay for up to 6k of your education expenses over a certain amount of years. But this company lies about how much you will make for them. If you go over 199 miles, your cpm goes down drastically. If you are getting a dedicated run from them, you are okay, but you usually have to work for them for at least 6 months. This goes until it's only 25cpm if you go over 299 miles in a trip. http://swift.drivers-central.com/swift-transportation/driver-pay.cfm for more information.

Heard good things about FFE, DO STAY AWAY from C.R. England. Saw alot of horror stories on you tube. Also, witnessed first hand at DPS testing center the lack of training given to those guys..PAM, USA, Swift are good options. Just remember, you get out of it what you put into it. Study your CDL guide before you arrive at school, be prepared and stay away from the slackers and complainers...LOL:biggrin_2552::biggrin_2557:

For me it came down to central, Stevens and Ffe. Each had good and bad. Central and Stevens push the leasing. And with Stevens had to park the truck @ a dealership on home time. (About 45 mins away.) For me I ended up with Ffe due to several reasons 1 less outa pocket. Yeah Stevens and central "give" you money while in school buy it's paid back weekly outa your check. And they both @ the time required a deposit when ya got your own truck. 2. Pay while OTR training was better w/ Ffe same with miles once on your own. 3. There is no push at all to lease with Ffe. I can barely back a truck right now much less figure out how to run it as a business right away.

Am I completely happy with things @ Ffe? Uh no. But I can't blame it all on them and def can't blame it on the driving school.

Like mentioned above check out mills, roel, Knight. Each place had its niche and what works for one may not work for you.
. As for Knight there's a great thread somewhere @ here by a guy named Spags. Search for it.

    Best of luck to ya.
