I turn 21 in October of this year and was wondering this same Scenario going on here
. This may get a bit confusing, but bare with Meh! I'm originally from Virgina. I still have my VA Drivers License. I now live with my folks in NC. I don't have a car so never needed to switch my license over, yet anyway. I would waste 60$ doing that and the time needed to go take the test again at the DMV. *Cough* Their All about Money, Am I right? haha! The only thing I changed was my mailing address over to NC. But, from my understanding the school I was going to go to in Texas in a few months once I apply and all that mess was that Texas had trouble Switching the CDL over to NC residences.
Luckily, I haven't switched my License over from Virginia yet. Just my Mailing Address. Worst case, My grandmother still lives in Virginia for which I can change my mailing address back over to her place and still keep my VA Drivers License and Switch the address on that License to my G mahs address and go to the CDL school in Texas and obtain it. Then, once I have that if I seriously needed too I could switch both my CDL and Drivers License over from VA to NC.
Thoughts, Ideas, and Suggestions any one?

As far as what is listed above. Use family like me to cheat the system. Looks like your best bet and stick to any bills you might have via Bank Account to save from the hassle. -
The week before I arrived at school i moved from NC to TN. I asked my recruiter about it and she said not to worry about it as you get a new license when I get to TX. Then after my 9 weeks is up and I return to TN I then transfer it over.
