    Rose:
As some have already said, i would look at check valves. Just recently went through this with a 5EK. Sit for 2-3 days(over weekend etc) and it would crank for several seconds and start to fire eratically etc and finally pick itself up, just like it would if out of fuel. Got worse, bothering sitting over night. It was a check valve.

check valve in filter base or o-ring on a fuel line fitting at the filter base closes to the cab. just went through this found a split o-ring making it suck air.

I want to thank all of you for your input. I think if it were o-rings on injectors it would blow smoke? ( It does not ) so I am leaning toward a o-ring on fuel line, fuel line itself, or a bad check valve? I am going to start with replacing one at a time until I find this. If I do all 3 together I will still never know what was the cause.

    thanks again
