Haha likewise my friend! I am kinda hoping sometime in the future I can get a job hauling for construction companies from spring through summer so I can get back to guiding in the fall for deer out in Kansas and winter for ducks and geese. Would love to do both. Have a good buddy out in Kansas that is dying to open up a outfit with me cause he knows how good I am at what I do and my client list is long and very loyal to me as alot of them have followed me across the country to every place I've guided at. When I signed on with USX they almost didn't hire me because my work history was so "spotty" because each season I was someplace else haha. I had to explain to them that's what alot of hunting guides did was travel to different areas to work to broaden our horizons in the industry. They finally bought it and gave me the job lol

I turned 21 last year in may July i started studying June i got my permit August 3rd got a job August 11th i was on the road. Thought my self 10speed 13 so i had a lot to learn yet today i am still learning, i am on a dedicated route home every 4 days and good pay so i did get lucky but you are def not the youngest one lol

Also i do pay 300$ for insurance until August coming up a whole year, because of my age and i had a bad record now my record is perfect I wont have to pay anymore, i guess being younger is worse they make it seem like a 20 year old and a 30 year old went to the same school graduated and got their licenses the same time, the 30 year old still gets treated better its not right but it is what it is

i just turned 28 and started when i was 22... and in the short time i have been driving it seems like alot of drivers are more on edge. I love trucking and cant see myself doing anything else, i grew up around big trucks because my dads been trucking for 30+ yrs, so i have that old school mentality and respect for other drivers regardless if i get back. its up to us younger generation to bring that old school back. ive had 2 incidents of 2 o/o having break fires and not one person stops to help him, but i did the right thing and helped out both times and to be nice they offered me cash but i cant take that from them. I help out when i can, just hope other ppl are too!

Let us stop beating around the bush and call it like it is. These young whipper snappers are just a bunch of Hippies. Back in my day when we went to CDL school we drove up a mountain both ways. Forward and in reverse. Showers at truckstops, no way. We had to use the horse troth. And lot lizard, no. We had real lizards.

Each generation remembers the past as we would like to. I do know that I have always been attracted to older women. That has not changed. There is just something about a gal when she has just put new tennis balls on the bottom of her walker that gets me going. :yes2557:
