Yes, just the front and rear. I don't like doing an entire load with it since if one section breaks, the whole thing breaks and you chance losing your tarps.
-
thats why you always put straps over the tarps.
-
I can't stand that lol
Ethan -
why not??do you put your belt on your udderwear, then your pants on over the belt??lolCAXPT, DrtyDiesel, SHC and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Lol no, I'm very particular how my tarps go. Im greatly concerned on how it looks(maybe I should work for TMC?). I like the cleaner look of a tarped load with the straps underneath. It makes my skin crawl when people throw straps over the tarp.
All my loads are securement first, then tarp. I know everyone has their own way, my brain just won't allow me to put a strap over a tarp.
EthanCAXPT Thanks this. -
No thanks, I'd rather not rip my tarps up. I'll put straps on the outside of insulation board but that's it. Besides my company having a policy against it, straps on the outside tend to tear tarps, corner protection of not.Odin's Rabid Dog Thanks this.

ok,each to his own.i've been doin it this way for 24yrs.somtimes i cant cause it will tear em up.but even one 2'' on the front, one at the center and one on the back to ensure they stay down tight.one size never fits all.
-
Well I use bungies to keep my tarp down. Makes it act like its glued to the trailer lol
Ethan -
i strap over. haven't torn yet. and i don't have to use as many bungees.
but then. i'm stuck with 8 fts till i get my own that i personally want. and a lot of our loads aren't even 4 ft high.
with only 2 rows of rings. i get a lot of slack cuz the top row is still lower then the rub rail.
if the load is really short. i won't even unfold completely.
it works. and they don't flap around. which is better then when i first started and was in the learning curve. they were always flapping around and coming lose.
i like professional looking too. but when 90 % of our loads are tarp. it gets old real fast. specially with the southern summer heat.gator21 Thanks this.
