your right chunkinpunkin, these yoyos want first class service and quality drivers and top notch service and dont want to pay for it, he got what he derserved. Ive been doing some research on powersource myself and will continue for a little longer and possibly signing on after Im confident with my info. These guys that had a bad experience and have never worked for them have no business saying they are a bad company, maybe they are, maybe they arent but I dont pay attention to those comments. The guy that had got his app approved and then denied, he knew he had something bad on his app, he should have been upfront and asked if they seen it and then he wouldnt have been in the situation he was in. That dont make them a bad company......At least they didnt bus him out there and then send him home on a bus, LOL...I hear that all the time from JB and Werner drivers etc............And the guy that sat for 3 weeks, thats your own fault, suck it up and go where the freight is, bobtailing isnt sucking alot of fuel. Im so tired of guys whining.....Have a good one!!!!

Ups, downs... It's all part of the game of being in the economy to do business.

As to Powersource, I know a guy who not only leased a truck from them, but paid it off early and last year sported a 1099 showing over $220,000 in revenue.

A driver can make money in power only. And if you're serious enough and mind your business you can keep more of it than you might realize.

yes my wife is leased to them now and they pay all bobtail miles and mostly haul new empty trailors and they do haul entertainment to such as circus disney on ice and kid rock dolly parton but mostly new empty trailors she is driving a 379 and last week after expensis she made 2785 free on average if you own the truck minus expences you can clear around 1800- 2400/wk after insurance fuel tolls ect.
I am looking to place 2 or 3 myself with them.
they also have lease purchas for those who dont have trucks but dont know the cost for that

I have worked with powersource as an admin asst for lease purchase side. I must say I loved working there but saw how bad dispatchers and everyone on the other side treated drivers calling them "lazy" or idiots" ect something that you shouldnt be saying to drivers because i have so much respect for them after working for this company, i got fired for marrying/dating one of my drivers they fired me for no reason... they say i was driving in the truck when the truck was in the shop for a week and also it was always parked away from the office and they got no proof... such un organized business.. since i left they lost shows and about 100 drivers... im telling you know there are way more better companies out there that do care bout their drivers like werner or swift (sad i know) they dont care if the drivers are sick we had one driver that had cancer but they still forced him to drive.... this company rapes u for money lease purchase side is crazy Karl is so rude to the drivers they arent allowed to call after hours make u wait to get repairs which i dont think is right..... or make u drive up to the yard with no AC in the summer.... i have worked with karl worse company ever... they just have no idea how hard is to be a trucker... so i DO NOT and will not recommend this place for driving.. u will not happy driving for them please take my word i seen, heard with my own eyes how they treat there drivers and will not let them have home time.... i again worked for them in the office!

I work for him for a little over a year they seem to be really really good people but the man that started passed away few years ago that was after I left I know the pay is dropped quite a bit and you do an awful lot of deadhead that's because you could be anywhere in the United States and drop a trailer and you may have to go several hundred miles to find another empty trailer to relocate. I did shows like move the equipment for Bon Jovi Ted Nugent Disney on Ice that was different but of course back then we were paper logs too that tell you about how long it's been but the price of everything is gone up but you do not have any company trailers everything is from outside that means that if it's an empty trailer from a manufacturer you make one amount of money on it but if you're moving a piece of heavy equipment that's over to mention on their trailer you'll make a different amount the thing that the owner his name was skip always said this job will make you lazy because you don't do any loading you don't do any unloading you don't use tarps very seldom do you ever use chains or straps and that would be just because you were hauling a set of chassis that's usually three or four trailer stacked on top of each other they make you use your own straps and chains but if you damage anything is new it will come out of your pay I don't remember what the deductible was it was like $3,000 the reason I left them was they started their own brokerage and they were running all the loads through their own brokerage so immediately we lost 10% then they started charging a percentage every time we used our straps and chains where before we got a hundred percent of it and now we get 90% of it or less there were no fuel discounts but I will tell you it was the easiest trucking job I ever had but it was also on the low end of what I make
