I reported the trailer to OTR and my DM. Come to find out a 7 year veteran central "driver" dropped it in there. And folks say all the new drivers suck! New drivers tend to make mistakes, 7 year veteran drivers doing stuff like that just shows how lazy and all together sorry they really are.

i picked up a preloaded one day at kraft in norcross ga that was completly missing a tire. the another time i went to americold for a drop and hook the trailer i was to get was still in the door leaning to one side. upon further inspection the two super singles on the left side had bullet holes in them. and thanks to fat mike in the conley shop it took 9 hrs to get 2 new tires.

Yeah, that sounds about right. The guys "not mechanics" in Conley couldn't find a goats ### with a stick. I watched one of the do an oil change a couple months back, the thing is he drained the oil changed all the filters then backed it out of the shop. Nothing unusual right? Wrong the turd never put any oil back in the truck. That was a lease ops brand new cascadia I ask the guy about it and he said " oh yeah I forgot" WTH ! Now that's a top notch shop right there..lol!

on that deal i was talking about i called it in and said they are super single tires well fat mike shows up with two single tires. he then has to go back 30 miles away and get 2 super singles. upon returing the second time he realises that he didn't bring the air jack with him. then it took about 4 hrs for him to get back cause it was lunch time and he had to hit up 2 china buffets and an all you can eat pizza joint. total time from the original call 9 hrs. sounds to me like someone milked the clock alllllllllll day as he usually does. and dont even get me started on that lazy cranky old fossill named jimmy.

Mike and Jimmy?? They're still there but they're freakin great techs compared to all the new idiots they've hired.. That #### boy Troy that they had washing trucks, well hell he's now a "mechanic"! Hell he couldn't even wash a truck right, I don't know what made them think he could freakin fix one!

:biggrin_25519:Got a call from Ryan today checking if I was still planning to re-try the class in Fontana next Monday (the 6th). I had failed Work Well after passing DOT back on the 9th. I told him sure, as long as I could get my Dr. to get off his duff and provide the info needed. Well, ok, I was more polite than that, but I'm feeling a tad bit rowdy tonight. :biggrin_25523: Here's hoping. I had to re-fax the Dr's office the same papers I faxed them 2 weeks ago. Lets hope it doesn't take a week and a half to get a response like it did right after I failed last time.

That's also true in the Transit Bus industry, CD. 11 folks started their training class. I was lucky then, as I still had some rusty skills from 17 years ago so it was easy for me. But MAN I saw some folks that really should never be behind ANY wheel in my opinion. A co-trainee gave me a ride part way home one night. On the highway, every time she saw a brakelight ANYwhere up ahead, she would not just slow down, she ALSO put the 4-ways on!!! EVERY TIME! There was another co-student, I heard stories about (didn't see) during training but I got the same feeling about. Both of them got CDLs, but were gone before 1/2 year was gone. She went when she told a supervisor he couldn't tell her what to do while he was trying to help her START THE BUS! He went when he 'went off' (verbally) on another driver in the brake room such that other drivers left and called the supervisor. He got them THAT worried. Only 3 of us lasted more than 2 years. After 5 years, I was the only one left. The difference between your numbers and mine? Bus drivers go home every day. Honestly? I found it easier to DRIVE a big rig safely, than I did a bus. My frieght wasn't always demanding attention for ODTAA! :biggrin_25520:
