Ward Trucking

I have been interested in Ward for some time now. I live about 25 miles from their Harmarville (Pittsburgh) Pa terminal. I have thought about their OTR division. I have a few questions for you Ward drivers if I may? I was curious about their OTR operating area (how far south)--Drop and hook much---Do they utilize APU's or allow inverters? Anything else you could add would be appreciated.

 

I can't tell you a lot about the OTR side of the company other than they run OH, and occasionally IN., IL., and northern Kentucky. Most of the customers are PA. NJ, MD. & Ohio based. Some of the trucks have APU's on them but all have invertors in them. Either a 1500 watt or a 3000 watt. The Harmarville
terminal actually belongs to the "LTL" side of the company, Ward Transport & Logistics, LLC. They do
P&D & Linehaul. Hope this answers some of your questions.

 

I knew they have an ltl division. I was just stating that yard is the closest one to me to park the truck at. I do thank you for the answers.

 

How much experience does Ward require for their LTL division? Thanks

 

Unfortunately I do not know the answer to that question. They have a website where they list all the open jobs they have. The website is www.wardtrucking.com I would guess that their minimum hiring requirements would be posted on their website.

 

been with them for 9 years, they have great hometime and stand by their drivers....even better they pay great and settle weekly with excellent benefits!!!
