Hey I have a Cdl A but haven't driven in a while & my husband just got his TIP for CDL B. Would they allow us to team up in a straight truck?

I've noticed a lot of new blood at Panther, dispatch and relations both. So far they've met my needs and I do not miss the Nazi mentality of their predecessors. It appears the majority are coming from Fed Ex. I'm not sure of this influx but hope it lends a level of professionalism to communications.

I have been looking at Panther and had a few questions that I haven't found answers to on these threads. Probably there, but a lot of threads to read. How are repairs handled with Panther? Will the owners that I get info on let me contact the people they have driving for them to ensure I get a good boss?

man i was with panther about a year and half ago ....the nazi mentality nearly drove me to drugs but the money was ok if you were a strong negotiator and had a thick skin

What kind of home time and weekly pay can you get driving a straight truck for panther? Recruiter had no info on pay (wth!) And he said a week out a day home
Thanks -
My miles remain anemic and will need life support soon. I'll discuss why I've made it so far, and my vehicle has a lot to do w/ it. I operate a Volvo 670. It averages 11.5 mpg. When I idle it uses .38g/hr. I've tried business class Freightliners and I ternationals but they cannot compete in effiecency or comfort. I'd rather be miserable in a Cadillac than a Pinto...

The fact that they survived after being owned by Fenway is amazing, I will go out on a limb and say that now that someone who knows something about trucking owns them, they are in much better shape.
And what I say about Fenway comes from them watching them do their best to destroy the company I have spent 20 years of my life working for.... -
Ok, my miles are up and I actually appreciate a couple days off. Been stuck on nights (which I hate) but if that's what the loads require I'm all over it. I sense that we are hurting for trucks as a lot of times I am all alone on busy boards. Good for me, bad for Panther...I think I'll quit being a cheerleader to potential drivers as less equals more for me.
