I'm leeased on malone. All company drivers are in the van division, malone flatbed is all o/o or L/P.

Well my last tarp job sucked too. Oh it stayed in place allright and did the job, but it was too loose and flapped on the sides. Gotta get em tighter. Now I get to try and get the he11 out of Jersey lol. I may just deadhead home if I can't find a load close as I'll be running out of hours in the next day or 2 with little recap hours coming back to me.

Hey grave, a trick to getting them tight is doing one end, such as get enough tarp to make your flap in the front then put some temporary tarp straps on and pull it like hell towards the back, then finish your back and front, then do the same to the sides, atleast that will help it stay centered while you pull the slack out.

Found a no tarp (confirmned it with shipper on phone) load delivering 70mi from home. Doesn't get much better than that.

About $1.70/mi. Enough to justify taking it.

1.70 a mile... lets do some math.
    1.70 + X = X.... X dollars for that run ;P

and just so you know about your lousy tarp loads.

not every load is going to be perfect. there will be times where you've got something that sticks higher. or loads where you've got space in between.
