care to give out references for people who will support you?
It would seem you are trying to do damage control here in an industry where you have not had a great reputation for driver care.
I grew up in Fargo ND. Started with EW Wylie in 1990. I avoided Magnum because of your very reputation then and it still holds true talking to drivers today. I have also had friends / family that have worked there and they sure would not share your sentiment.
poor miles and poor pay to boot. Two things that this industry is known for. Magnum is one of them.

I have heard more people say we have a good reputation than a bad one. I am not trying to do damage control, no one had answered the question so I did. Not all of the information I got back from the drivers was good, no company is perfect. I just didn't hear any complaints about the way they were treated. The biggest complaint I heard was that they wish the pay was higher, and Magnum is in the process of putting in a new pay system to help with that. You are entitled to your opinion so if you don't believe me tha is your right, but I currenly work at Magnum and had just talked to drivers and thought I would pass along what I knew.

then references would not be an issue then.
-
If by references you want me to list drivers that work for Magnum I don't feel that is my place. We have a facebook page if you would like to see a few driver comments but I don't see how listing drivers names would help you anyways. Regardless you are entitled to your opinion and you may keep voicing it over and over if you wish but as I was just answer the question because no one else had yet.

So as an applicant we are required to provide a reference. As an employer you are not.
that's fairHwyPrsnr Thanks this. -
I drive a 62 mph truck and am on e-logs and have no problem getting 2500 miles in a week, have even done 3100 in a week, understand it is a dedicated acct and I do not spend any time chasing freight, all trips are out and back.
MAGNUMHR Thanks this. -
MNdriver, look up scooterdog, he was a Magnum driver for a couple years. I think he was our of Mt. Aire? in the Carolinas.
MAGNUMHR Thanks this. -
Now this is just plain wrong. I'm a driver for Magnum and I have been repeatedly told by dispatch "there are no dedicated accounts".
Yeah the pay can be better, so can the equipment. Magnum has a "million mile fleet" - most of the trucks are 5-7 years old and are pushing a million miles. Now, a million mile truck can be a good truck thats true, but many of Magnum trucks are beat to hell.
ok, Ive heard magnum will get new trucks in "soon" - but Ive heard that for a while and not holding my breath.HwyPrsnr Thanks this. -
Who "beats" them to hell?:smt017
