Most companies have a 7 year felony thing. If the felony is over 7 years old it is no big deal. An arrest has nothing to do with guilt or innocence so it cannot be considered against you. A charge that was dropped is the same way. That being said, anything that brings attention to yourself effects you. Arrest and criminal behavior tend to offset many folks. I don't want a person working for me that can't remember how much money they have in a checking account. That doesn't mean I haven't been there and done that.
In my life, I have been sued for 900 million dollars. I have spent 8 months on a 4 year sentence in prison. I have been divorced 2 times. Those things look bad. Yet for those who know me, I am a really nice guy.Admitting you did wrong is half the fight, the other half is to quit screwing that life up. Welcome to trucking.

Thanks for the help this far...so just to be clear when i'm asked if i have any convictions should i list that as one or just the ones that i know are convictions?
-
You only list the things they ask for. They ask for felony convictions. You do not volunteer anything.
