trucks been sitting for 5 years

I would pass on it myself seems like it is a little high to me .

 

what can u do with a truck from 1984 anyway?

Might be a good deal, but your fuel mileage from that time will not be impressive.If you mechanically inclined, and do your own work, might be OK. If this is your first truck, I say no.

 

Theres still older trucks out there that will blow a lot of NEW ones into the weeds , but they had lots of $ put into them.

1985 W900 on truckpaper going for $6,000.00 to $9,000.00 , but expect to put more than batteries into it. If sitting that long it needs to be gone over end to end , lots could be wrong with it.

For a startup truck you likely would be better off getting a newer one ( running ) this 1 would make a good hobby truck if you had a shop and time to work on it.

welp...unless u are prepared to get your own Authority, you can forget about signing it on anywhere. even the sleaziest of companies are not going to sign a 1985 anything on. but if you got it like that and just want to tool around your farm, maybe haul your horses for here to there...maybe pull you a fifth wheel drag along when you go camping...well driver...have at it.

 

Don't give up just cause somebody says no,get a hold of some batteries go fire it up and see what you got.you get it cheap enough could make a nice first truck, and you get an education fixin it up. jmo also not true about nobody signing you on.
