we haul CH loads all the time, since the do a lot of container/ocean loads. they pay fast, some loads pay #### good, yeah we are always heavy with them, and for the most part their people range from total a-holes to halfway decent

I didn't realize loading or unloading times were a reflection on the broker. They really have no control over how long it takes but they do have control over whether or not you get paid. I personally don't mind sitting anywhere AS LONG I'm paid for it. What's better than getting paid to do nothing?

I dealt with CH for a number of years out of Edmonton AB and Calgary. Never once had a problem with them. Quick pay to TChek card was great.
Even made Rig of the Month.
But they still call me for HH stuff now and then.
    I like them.

The Chicago Central office has their act together. The other CH offices rarely have a clue. Once your carrier rating (ask them, they'll tell you) with them stays good, the money gets better and they'll bend over backwards for you.

being in the industry for more than 35 yrs I have refused on principal to load for chr having had earlier experience,s with them from the 70,s & early 80,s until a few weeks ago, they had what seemed to b a good load that would finish out the round nicely I still haven't gotten paid [quick pay really] the load was a real pain including a layover to pick it up [not known up front] 7 hrs delay in loading the next day and a very uncooperative and nasty shipper my driver bent over backwards to take care or chr,s customer[ receiver] ifaxed the bills to the broker brad in Chicago as instructed supposing to b paid in 48 hrs that was on dec 20th it is now jan5th no pay I guess I should have maintained my earlier position on chr I know in todays business climate it,s not a good idea to limit ur options any more than nessasary but sometimes I think ur better off note worthy I think is the fact that chr is the only broker ive had trouble getting paid by of course I don't use a lot of unknowns
