To be honest, I would be extremely happy if the went to a Mon-Fri work week, with mandatory weekends off LOL

So the speed camera in the construction zone supposedly got ya? That thing is a good conversation piece around here. Alot of people trying to get it gone. I am surprised that someone hasn't hooked up to that little trailer yet and backed it into the river. Lol

Wouldn't bother me either. I do that now, or at the least, pretty close to it.

Sioux City has really gotten into the red light cameras as well. Keep that in mind if you have to get off the big road and go into town. I wish Qualcomm would have let them run that story, it could have been a big help in getting rid of that thing. But I can see why they didn't want to be mentioned also.

I've been running electronic logs for close to three years now and for the most part enjoy it way more than I ever thought was possible. To answer your question about bob-tailing for personal reasons; I have what I guess you could call "line 5" on my screen. When I go to change my duty status I have 5 options to pick from; the first four everybody is already familiar with (Off, Sleeper, Driving, On-Duty Not Driving), but my fifth option is "Off Duty-Driving". This option allows me 30 mins to do whatever as long as I'm not pulling a trailer or B/T to pick up a load. After 30 mins it switches to line 3 and you start taking the hit on your 11, 14, & 70. I am unsure if you are only allowed 30 mins per day or at a time. Normally, I don't need to use it because it is very rare that I even get close to my 70 hrs.

    Hope this helps some.
