Dish tailgator??

Ya, they rattle to death inside after a while on the back of a truck if you don't watch it.

 

I recommend it. It's a nice unit. If they would allow it to work with DirectTV too and let us mount it permanently then my life would be a lot easier... lol

 

I set mine between the seats.

 

Very good, quick set up and take down, either knock it into the passenger seat or on the bunk.

 

I am a VuQube dealer, not a driver any more. I install them. I am not currently carrying the Tailgator but have installed several. We have installed hundreds of VuQubes over the years. For the guys that had the Tailgator they would usually store it in the truck and mount in on a mirror mount. Some guys with flat hoods set them there at night too.

I don't. But I know that I have seen some dealers sell refurbished units at a discount. However, I do not. It may be just superstition on my part but I know how much abuse that anything mounted to a semi truck takes and I avoid dealing with that category of used item. However, with that said, if you can find a used/refurbished unit that still carries the full one-year warranty then you would at least be minimizing your risk of monetary loss on that purchase.
