I'm looking for pics of nice trucks with 48' flats for my web site.
Any suggestions where to copy/download and use w/o gettin sued over the matter?

Why not just contact the owners of the photos you'd like to use and ask for permission? It's not cool or ethical to just pirate images off the web, especially if you're going to post them on your own website.

I want to add that if you are copying/pasting them for discussion on an internet forum, and are clearly indicating that you were not the photographer, it's not such a big deal. But if you want them for your own website, then you should make an attempt to contact the photographer for permission to use them.

Thanks Voyager1968...I have no intention of using another's property w/o permission...not cool. What I been looking for is a site where I can buy photos for commercial use. Lots of sites but can't really find what I'm looking for:Straight on side view of 48' flat (straight frame), and close-up rear view of same. Found perfect stuff on Reitnour web site but got no reply to my request...Guess that meant "No".

Pick a company with great trucks, and write and ask them. Most owners are very proud of their trucks, and would love to have them featured.

If you just need generic photos you can get some from stock photo agencies such as iStockPhoto, ShutterStock and Corbis. I know that Corbis distributes royalty-free photos and the other may have some as well. Just google their names and you'll find them.
