I agree to a point but I had put in for the Flying J card when I was close to go to Centrail Freight school which I shined on to get in with W/S

Now I think I should of gone because now I am getting dicked around.

Last week it was "You have to pass the DOT and testing before we can send your loan docs in"

So I jumped thru that Hoop OK.

Now this morning from Gwen

Gordon: We still have steps in this process we have to follow thru with. I'm sorry if you feel it is taking too long. Have you gotten the credit report yet with the credit score on it. I need this report before I can send the loan docs to the bank. Thank you, Gwen​

So I think they are trying to find a way to knock me out and it must be the age thing. They have sent me and turned me every which way in this process.

How many of you had to get and send in a credit report?

Wasn't that the reason I signed a paper authorizing them to do that?

Well try not to get frustrated. I seriously doubt its an age thing or that they are giving you the runaround. You said that your credit was not the best so they probably need extra documentation. But no, I did not have to send in a credit report, but my credit is fairly strong. Still that does seem kind of odd, but I think there is a good reason for it, you might want to ask her why. Trucking companies are known to be fine with hiring older folks cause there is such a need for drivers so I don't think they are giving you the runaround.

Try and stay positive and just do your best to comply with all the requests. If you end up not making our class for these reasons, then I would say gripe away, but try and keep positive so that if everything eventually goes through ok, you'll be starting out with a positive outlook. Honestly, I think if they wanted to weed you out all they would have had to say was your credit was not good enough for the loan, so I just don't see that being the case.

 

I have an account with FreeCreditReport.com which is actuall EXPERIAN

I pay 12 bucks a month to be able to get a report anytime I want plus any thing happens like someone does an Inquiry I get a notice. If I get anything put on it which is not good I get a notice.

I just downloaded a new credit report and I see nobody has looked at it including TAB

But when I go to download it I have to agree that it is for my personal use and I cannot send it to any company. The reason is I am sure they want the other companys to pay for the report.

So do I violate my agreement with EXPERIAN and send a copy to W/S

So you didn't have to send in a report, How would they know your credit is fairly strong if they didn't have a report?

Mine was perfect going back 20 yrs up till this year and we slipped up a bit. Living on small retirement sucks so why am I going back to work? I figured if I go back to work it will be something I want to do. Not back as a computer spec I retired from making 59K plus OT a year in 1994. My last yrs gross was 84K My retirement is 20k and I love NY Steaks

I would think if a report is needed TAB who is loaning the money would get it. Seems strange they change modes in Mid Stream just for me.

My other recruiter from Centrail R wants to know if I am still interested in coming to their school now that I got my medical cleared up. I told her I had an appointment to get my CDL Permit tomorrow and she said don't do that because you can't transfer it to California. Something W/S is not concerned about cuzz you have to get one before coming to MT.

The only problem I see with Central Refrigerated is they cancelled their Pet Policy after I had all my papers in and was accepted for school.

I'm getting stressed again over this I think and I have jumped thru more Hoops than you all would ever know the past 5 months.

 

When W/S had you fill out the credit application for TAB did you make a copy of it and if so, did it state that it authorizes TAB to run a credit check. In sending in credit applications they will require a privacy statement to be signed along with the credit application.

I have the files Bonnie Sent me to print out but one would not open so she sent me the hard copy.

Last week the crunch was to get the DOT Physical.
Gwen said we can't send in the student loan app untill you pass that

This week is a new ball game I guess.

I wonder what next week will bring.

Bonnie just told me she is going to check with her Boss tomorrow when he comes back to see if it is legal to ask students to get copies of credit reports and send them in.

I am wondering if W/S has openings for drivers as they only take enough students to fill their needs. I can see why they make you take your DOT physical before they send in the loan papers to make sure you pass the test and can be hired.

My only complaint with W/S is that a person has to take your state CDL permit test and go to school with it because you will be in a truck on the second day and then have to take the Montana CDL permit test and pass it and then get your Montana CDL and then transfer it to the state you reside in.

 

If Get my Montana CDL I am going to use my friends address in Missoula so I can get me a Elk permit every year. My old friend used to have a truck trailer repair Biz on the road in the area. He retired couple years ago.

Anyway he is going to pick me up at the airport on the 24th.

I told him who I was going to train with and he told me alot of stuff he personnaly knows about the company.

Sorry to say but the excitment has worn off today and I can't even study for my CDL tomorrow.

I thought that you were going to take your CDL permit test tomorrow and did you friend give you some bad news about W/S that has turned you off of them.

 

Yes CDL Test tomorrow. Maybe I will get back into the study mode later.

I have taken a few test Tests and did ok but I hear every test has different questions. If I fail one or all I can go back thur. Keep taking till I pass them all. By then I will be looking for another trucking company to go with that is based in AZ.
