Dirt roads were common for my hubby when he was hauling hopper. Nothing new to go to a feed lot with grain, or alfalfa meal. You guys just don't know that there are OTHER niches in trucking that require these things. And don't get me started on the "roads" hubby had to maneuver when he was hauling cattle.

Some people cannot think outside the box.

Coal trucks run dirt roads all the time, oil well service rigs run dirt, milk tankers, feed trucks the list goes on and on.

    Bull haulers, construction trucks.

    Ya all get the picture.

I drive a Cornfield Cadillac so even if I don't have, to or shouldn't..... I take her out for a stroll thru the fields . Just so she'll act right on the road !

Remember when driving on PAVEMENT was a new thing , 95% of the time was spent on dirt roads , logging roads or mining trails.

Nothing like listening to straight pipes with a good jake echoing in a mountain pass, no one around for 10 miles and a dirt road in front of you.
