1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

It is possible to run CA and not get tickets. In the course of several yrs I was in that state an easy 12 times. No tickets ever. But then again I didn't run 65 while in CA either.

Hey Trips, sorry to hear about your string of bad tickets- good luck. Noticed you live in Bolingbrook- there has got to be some local can hauling company that you could drive for, at least for a year (or three) till your violations (and suspension) have 'matured'. I realize it's not the greatest work, but at least it keeps your experience current.

ant none of us perfect:biggrin_25512:...sorry you are having a bad time with things, 8 years of driving, The bad thing is people seem to look at the bad, and not the safe miles you drove over the years, you need to do a honest self inventory, and ask yourself what you could have done to change what happened, and what you can do to change in the future. we all have a past, After I got out of the Marine Corp in "88" I went a little crazy, over the first 2 years I had 2 DWI'S, a suspended licence, a hand gun charge, striking a police officer, And putting my brother in the Hosp. ( struck him in the face with a AR-15. my ex wife moved from Houston to Alabama to get away from me. a death in my family in 1990 changed my life, 17 years latter I have a clean record, with 10 years CDL. haz-mat tankers. it just takes a change of heart and some time, As for driving, you mint want to see if you can find an O/O. that just wants an experienced driver, no questions asked, sorry for the life story. I hope it helps, and I wish you all the best of luck. "be safe"
