Strafford, MO at a TA. My ac started blowing 100* air at 1am so it was a miserable night but I got loaded at 6am and the ac came back after I got moving. I figured if it is overcharged, letting out some freon (polluting) might help. I need to pollute a bit more and it should be just about right.

Let's just say you're not unique in being questioned about turning down loads.

... Sure because if you start losing money on your lease, the first thing that comes to mind is to sign right up for another one with the same company.

I soloed 6 months ago today! Sometimes it seems like a lot longer than that. I might start a new thread with what I think after 6 months. Its definitely been a great time and I'm looking forward to more.

Near Madison, WI about 40 minutes from my delivery at 8am. It's 30* cooler here than where I was in Misery last night but it's raining. Water runs in on Prostars if the windows are down more than an inch. Need to figure out how to fabricate rain gutters...

At the Fontana terminal, my favorite terminal away from home.

Been a wild week, 4230 loaded miles! Instead of the MT can load out of Worland they tried to get me to take a load of sugar. Problem was some knucklehead dropped a 4-axle heavy haul trailer at Wyoming Sugar and of course they loaded it. 41,000 lbs on the trailer/84,500 gross. After wasting 2 hours at Wyoming Sugar I ended up getting a MT can load just like Frank said I would. Was scheduled for delivery tomorrow but I delivered it today, hence the big week.

Then they tried to get me to take a load with 4 pickups in Socal, 3 tomorrow, 1 Friday, and....you'll love this....delivery NEXT THURSDAY the 16th in Denver. Needless to say I didn't take it. Ended up with a beer load from Van Nuys to Nogales, picks up anytime after midnight tonight and delivers by 0530 Friday. I see a 10 hour break at home tomorrow afternoon.

    Springfield, MO at the TA.

Picked up a t-call load this morning at the Memphis terminal.
I couldn't find the trailer because it was not where they said it was. Turns out it was moved to the fuel area, then moved back into a different spot as I was looking for it.
I had just made my second round and decided to find a yard dog. Spotted one and went up to him as he was dropping my trailer into a spot.

Not time I could afford because I am very low on hours.

So I hook and go, but the fuel route I am given is around 60 miles longer than my GPS route - so it takes me yet another hour to get here.
    Not time I can afford.

I get a pplan that picks up at the same place I am dropping. Sweet.
But when I get there I only have 1 minute left on my 70.

So, a little editing of on-duty time to off-duty to give me an extra 20 minutes to pick up my next load and get to the TA.
I parked and shut down with 3 minutes left.

I don't like to. I'd rather keep it just the way I first log it.

If I have to I will cut it down to a 15 minute pre-trip, even if I put in more time.
    Same with a fuel stop.

It was simple luck that I could adjust the times a bit, to allow myself the time needed to get somewhere to park for the night.

Well, a bit of foresight as well. I always try to log a 30 minute pre-trip.
With this Plus-1 system, you never know when you might need an extra 15 minutes or so.
It runs you that very tight, which I really hate.

You're about 86 miles east of me; I'm at a Road Ranger/Pilot at x147 going to Beaver Dam in the morning. Probably shut down for a 34 in Madison.
