how to secure a ford edge in a reefer trailer

Scary man... scary. I wouldn't do it unless I knew without a doubt that I could secure it. I have seen people use the e-track straps, but without them, yeah, scary...

 

drive a way companies have been doing it for decades.

you just have to know how to secure it......

Have you checked shipping rates. Might. E cheaper to have a car hauler handle it. Unless your talk g a load there anyways and have space for it. Then unless you have anchors already in the trailer you will need some type of anchor point atleast 4 of them to secure the vehicle too. Maybe 2 on each side I front and behind the front tires the a ratchet strap on top of the tire. Then another anchor in the rear to keep it from bouncing

 

Or if your good at blocking and bracing you might be able to use that method too

 

What part of Canada? just block it in with pallets infront of the wheel, turn the wheels to the right so if the car slides to the right, the tire will hit the wall and not damage the fender. You really need to have some wheel straps secured to an E track. Another question is why would you want to use the reefer to Florida, the rates on reefer freight to Florida are much more than a car hauler gets for 1 car. PM me and I can help youfind a carrier.
