How far West will National Van drivers get? I have a son in Denver I'd like to see once in a while. Any van loads to Denver or SLC or do they just go to the drivers who live there?

 

I am in the national flatbed fleet and live in MD. Started with the company in February. Just returned from my first west coast assignment (OR & CA). Supposedly they like to wait until a driver has 6 months experience before sending west but there it is.

Put food in the microwave.

Unplug Microwave.

Go to the living room, Call dispatch. Tell them the "Check Microwave" light is on.

Wait for Repairman until daughter comes back home.

 

At the TA in whitestown, in on i65 exit 130

Wanted to get as far as I could tonight with this load. I'll be playing my hours to the book. Exactly 10 off then driving tomorrow only stopping for my load checks. This is my load headed south so I'll be wound up and let go.

I'm going to claxton, ga then hopefully picking up in Madison at the gp headed for the sunshine state!!

I live in Denver, so Roehl does have freight there. It is hard for me to get home sometimes. Roehl won't send you west of Denver until you have 6 months experience with them, but after that, you could probably request to go there. I know when I want to take my hometime in PA, I just have to ask and that's where I get routed when it's time for me to go home.

 

Sitting at the rest area just west of Minooka, IL. I deliver in Romeoville at 0600 in the morning. I have to stop at the Pilot in Minooka for fuel though. I HATE that Pilot! Always crowded and never any parking. I guess I'll get up at 0415 so I have time to scew around at the Pilot before my delivery.

 

They are in Jackson TN tonight...loading there in the morning and then headed home with it.

 

Dispatch would tell me I went over the 2 hour time limit and now I have to wait for it to reset...
