Prime Inc driver thread

Congrats!!! Tuesday the adventure begins!

 

Hi everyone! I am really interested in attending Primes training program. My major concern is that I am a woman and I saw a video saying the wait time is 6 to 8 months to get in? Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks in advance

I'm a woman I started back in July, I came with my class A. I would say go for it now. I have a woman trainer.

Are you a woman? I applied 2 days ago but have not heard from my recruiter yet. How long did it take to hear from them? I have a clean record, good work history etc so I do not expect any hang ups from any pre-sceening they might run. I just wondered how long their process takes. Are men trainers training women there, or do you have to wait on a woman if your a female?m Sorry for all the questions, I just need to get this process moving along

 

Well I am looking at attending their CDL program. I plan on having the permit in the next few days to be better prepared. Thanks for the reply!

 

not a woman but i waited 4 days then called that got ball rolling then just took a few days.

I'd call recruiting tomorrow, and camp out on hold until I got a person. Let them know you put in an app, and are extremely interested in training at Prime. The wait list can be quite long, because we don't have a large group of women trainers. Our owner will not allow men to train women because of problems in the past.

 

Thanks a ton IP....Ive been reading all over these boards and have read a bunch of your posts. I will call back and try to nail down Darlene and get better info. I've looked at every company that offers training and it seems Prime is the best fit for me. Thanks again!
